Anyone living in India acquainted with the legal restrictions under which Indian hemp is sold, both"wholesale and retail, will understand that large quantities of these drugs are purchased and consumed in a pure state. The three forms of Indian hemp are well known : Uharig or siddlii consists of the dried leaves, <janja the matted flower heads, and charas the resinous exudation.
